God told them they did not. Israel insisted and God gave them Saul ( I think I am correct on this). Saul was OK for a while, then things went to his head and he decided he was as good as God. From there it was downhill. I think when people depend on the government to the extent they are now becoming accustomed, we are doomed. I mean, 99 weeks of unemployment? More out of wedlock children on welfare, the more money the government hands out. To hold a job or get a job, we must take a drug test, yet to be on welfare it is not required?<br />When you read the Preamble to the Constitution, all doubt about the belief in God is removed as far as the framers were concerned.<br />I sometimes am amazed at the bizarre behavior of the so called "Stars" in Hollywood. How those outrageous antics can be called art is far beyond me.<br />I did hear of one way to get our counrty back in line. Let all the gay men marry gay men. Let all the gay women marry gay women.
